Is it true that in you can see your monitor whilst driving you can get done for it? Im putting mine in the dash above the cd player and taking the vents and hazard out. Can anyone enlighten me?

it is allegal to have it playing whilst driving other than that they can do fook all as long as you are stationery

i've heard as long as the driver can't see the screen whilst it's on your fine i.e head rest

Most will have a cable which you should connect to your handbrake cable light which will allow images to be displayed when this is complete. On mine the line just hast to be grounded, some peoplpe just put a switch on, and drive along with the screen on, then if police pull you jus flick the switch and it will say somin like viewing not aloud while driving.
Not sure why they do it tho, as loads of people have TomTom/Sat nav etc which is equally as distracting, unless ure driving along with some porn vid on  lol

its not illegal to have a screen on showing certain images, as i have a valid MOT certificate for this:

If the screen is displaying vehicle information, ^^^like above^^^. then its valid.

i drive with mine on (sunvisor monitors) but its displaying the track list for a cd if its not the music videos

i have a head unit with a screen in, and on the screen shows like track details, and has skip buttons aetc as its touch screen, is tht legal??

But not moving images like movies, games, dvd's...
