Because the 7110 was much more popular so more people saw it, more people assumed it was the matrix phone

Yeah it was modified in the Matrix to have the automatic slider open thing like a 7110.
I would certainly use a 7110 now if it would work and I had one. My 6310 is listed on retrophones.com or whatever that site was where you could buy old stuff, so I'm clealy already living in the past
Had a Sony CMH 333 as well, Mars Bar phone, used to thing I was ace with that in my pocket. No phone book - only speed dials. Ace.

I had a 7110, would still use it if the buttons worked!
They should make an updated version of it, no aerial, colour screen, etc. was a wicked phone!

I have 3 8850's
1 grey
1 black
1 gold (geek )
7110 was nicknamed the matric phone even tho it wasnt
But agreed cosmo, 262k screen, BT MPcamera no aeriel make it a tad smaller (u dont remember how BIG it actually is )
Oh and Ian 6310i is one of the greatest phones of all time!
