Haven't wired mine up properly on the micra yet and aint really looked into it, and think it should be the same on mind, but assumed that one was for the +ve on the battery and one was for -ve, then stick a switch in the circuit, or wire into sidelights.

Got a mate of mine to wire mine up. you have to split the sidelight wire and connect the rings to them (this also helped at mot time to cut off the 'illegal ring'). We used two extra lengths of wire to complete the circuit.

can you use Scotch Locks mate and just connect the wires like tht? without affecting the original loom?
also are the sidelight wires yellow and white? and which is +ve?

Awww cack i can't think without looking at my car. we just cut the wire to make it simpler for MOT (as it was a month off). get bare wire and use locks should be fine as you want the ring by itself when using side lights. I think the earth we used was the original sidelight brown wires. yeah. so either yellow + white or black + white i think for +ive. sorry i'm not much help, my lights came with v. bad diagrams and we guessed.

lol wire them to sidelights? are sidelight wires white and yellow? if so which is +ve and -ve?
Also if youre wiring them to sidelights, does that mean the rings go off when you put headlights on? and its a normal beam ? do you lot drive with sidelights on at night if thats the case? seems crazy lol

check my garage. my bro wired min ein for me and he sed he did wire them into sidelights. when the lights are on full beam i THINK the angel eyes go out and if not main beam is too nright to actually see them much at all!
in my pic u can see it lit up abit, but i think thats just light from main beam.
He's in bed now so duno which wires
Thinking about opening them ones up and putting the bmw rings in can get em from ebay, much brighter!

Theres actually 8 or 9 leds behind there all precisly placed to give best brightness.
Looks sweet at night!
May be selling it soon as a touch screen will be going there and all the servos etc relocated.

yeh theres 3 bulbs i think to light that lot up originally. he wired 3 leds into each bulb connector.
The leds we used at the time were just the normal leds that emit decent light out of teh very front so had to do alot of moving about to get it good.
