well story goes like this....

Last night kev goes out, smells really bad gearbox oil...

so the 6 speed came out today and has a hole in it! so we get a 5 speed box get that in and then were on the road for about 12.30 or so!

got to falklands... no-one is their u's all left

guys were really good knew their stuff etc..

Kevs car (aceman) was stuttering a little, not running enough boost as the turbo aint wanting to hold it...

So bigger injectors and fuel pump en route...

Bigger turbo and a decent back box within the next few months as well

252 bhp, 320 lb foot torque

Guys were stunned with the torque, but kev wants more

1Nm = 0.738lb-ft

So 242Nm would be 178.5lb-ft

My 169.9Nm would be 125.3lb-ft

Something suspect about the rollers there yesterday, just lookin at the girls graph and it dont add up at all, turns out like a 40% transmission loss which is way to high for a FWD car

the guys at the rollers where talking to us about your car and said to us its not set up right something to do with the cr ratio he also said whren you lower the cr to run more boost then yea the hores's will go up but the torqe will come down

was kind of happy with the result on my car although i wanted a little more bhp i could live with the torqe seen as i never got alot of stuff done after blowing up th f28 the day before

depends how much more bost, what the timing is like also. GT1's are 7.8:1 GT3's are 9.0:1 both produces the same amount of torque and within 6hp (GT1 have more) his torque figure should not be that low at 1.3 bar like wise how come that standardengine bar a FMIC get a hugh gain over standard.

It is so hard to take drag into rolling road days! binding brakes thick gear oil worn cv joints all of these add to drag every car has a different reading! as far as the whole day everyone seemed pretty happy with there results and anyone that wasn't spoke to kevin. anyone unhappy with there results should speak to kevin at falkland them self and maybe get back on sometime soon! I think for the amount of cars those guys had to get throught thay did a great job. Also well done Mav sorry its so late

your car was an exception. mine and yours just wanted to light up rollers my torque was well low when it was spinning on runs before the slightest bit of wheel spin will lower torque figure. all i can suggest is next time we will get them to tie the back down on them both.

The Rollers at Fakland are piss poor, i've told Kev and Debbie this before, My cousin took his Evo there got 324bhp and 338nm on the rollers took it too dastek and star to get two more RR's done and it rana consistent 389.5bhp and something like 418nm

will have to double check his graphs again but it deffinately increased and both Star and Dastek runs were pretty much the same with just MINOR differences probably down to the weather..

the Maha system falkland run is touted by Kev as the best out there.. seems Dastek and Stars are more accurate to me even though they are older systems, think Star Performance use the maha LPS 2000 system which seems better

I aint got the foggiest, dont think it was the evo that was tested at falkland when i think about it, but my cousin used to use them constantly as i get discount as my ex's dad used them regular, then Kev started messing him about with RR Runs so he ditched them and uses dastek I'll double check what car it was

the Corsa Turbo was deffo tested there and it ran 180bhp and 210 nm well down on what it should of been it eventually ran 222bhp torque figure i cant remember at dastek

I've posted claires graph on a few forums now and everyone said that the figures dont add up, on claires 106 the drag worked out at 41% which is supposed to be way to high and on mine it was only 20% there abouts, I'm gonna find another RR and put claires car on and compare the 2 printouts
