if i get harness's do the have to be bolted to the boot or can the go down the back of the seats?

i had mine attcteched to the rear seatbelts under the seat. or u can put them to the buckle near the boot lid.

they wont be safe if you just put them down the back of the seat to the base
best bolting to the rear seatbelt mounts on the boot floor for the straps over the shoulders & the others (side straps) to the rear bolts to the seat mounts

also there not gona be much safe on the buckle near the bootlid

i found the best place to be the rear seat belt on the floor 
and agreed, will be very unsafe attacthed to the front seat frame

where the original mounts are is best,
i.e on the c pillar near the boot
or on the floor under the rear seats where the clip mounts

mine
really would advise against using the c-pillar tho, if you roll or crumple the rear, you will loose any support from the harnes
least if its on the boot floor you have a good amount of protection from a rear end or roll!

feed them thru the rear seats to the original mounting point, but please dont put them on the c piller, any impact from the rear will render them usless and you will end up in pain!
