i have actually started to like these little metro's especially with a 1.8 engine! how exciting it must be to drive! prob like a nova with a c20xe but more fun as its a metro

No comparison between the metro and corsa.
A 1.8vvc metro would whoop a c20xe corsa all other things being equal. The metro has a huge weight advantage.
Very interesting car with loads of tuning potential!

metro GTI weighs just under 900kgs, the 1.8vvti makes 143bhp and 128lbs ft torque, 100kgs advantage but down a big chunck of torque also, its hardly going to whoop it.

well ibe never raced a xe round corners etc
but having the oppertunity to drive fads loads, i know whats quicker round corners
not alot in it, because as you prob know, the "mysticle xe corsa dont handel" doesnt exsist, but the lighter set up is obviosuly better for this type of driving
