I have had the car since September(ish) 2004 where it had had 2 previous owners. (IIRC, i'll have to look it up).

Its a 1998 S Plate in Arden Blue Breeze and has done around 57k.

Up until I bought the car it had a full service history, but ive had it serviced twice by an ex-VW mechanic I know who did it on the side (but obviously couldnt stamp my book).

The last service he did for me was in July and he did everything, from standard filters and oil change to changing handbrake cable, stripping all breaks and giving it all a good clean.

I've never had a problem with the car starting cold or anything like that. The only trouble I've had with it was a bad Air Flow Meter which in turn collapsed my Cat. Both were promtly replaced and since then the car has run fine.

There are no modifications to the car apart from a couple of bits and bobs inside (Alacantra Gaitors, Star Silver sprayed MFD Housing, Glovebox Housing, Vent surrounds etc, Blue and White bulbs) and a debadged grill on the front.

Car has manual Mirrors and Windows, but has a Sunroof

Its in good condition for its age (baring a few minor chips/scratches etc), and is still keen to go when I want it to.
