Right as the engine is getting redone, the colour will be changing!

At the moment it looks like this...

As you can see, the main bulk is Aubergine like the car. The spark plug cover is Red, with the "V" on 16v been Ford Signal Yellow. I'm planning on the spark plug cover staying red, with the letters all going yellow.

I don't want it to stay Aubergine as its too dull. I don't want it Yellow, Red, or White (unless somebody posts a really good shade).

So what would YOU do?

Funny you should say pink. Pink and yellow do go well!

I could do it a light-ish blue, with the spark plug cover pink, and the letters yellow?

Yeah, I wanted a contrast to the car, rather than something that blends in!

But its a fine line between tasteful and tacky!

Somebody said Union Jack? Not so kean on that so far!

union jack, lol would be different.

get some picture air brushed over it all like me getting castle grgeyskull and he-man on mine..... no

see, i think chromey stuff is for cars that dont go fast, lol. in the case of yours, its not like yer gonna be popping the bonnet at 150mph so painted some colour would be best.

yellow would look highly odd, but maybe work. you need to get someone to photoshop it for you i think

Whatever you spray the rocker, the cambelt cover has to be the same! That means hard to keep looking mint

So white is a No-No!

Box is going to be shotblasted, so its shiney, as the head will be. Going to put some more shiney bits under there too....

I know this might sound daft but have a look at football shirts, that way you can see many differant colours together & see what matches/looks good
