Do Vauxhall give out courtesy cars when they are reparing cars? Do you have to ask them/pay them for one? This is Star City garage in Birmingham btw... Sorry for the stupidity of this post but i'm annoyed at phoning the garage up and being put on hold for 5 mins at a time

Whenever mine goes to Vauxhall I cant get a courtesy car unless I book one 2 weeks in advance. Thats fine for a service but when it suddenly breaks down then you dont know its going to happen 2 weeks in advance

Yes, this is my problem. The car has broken, I have no idea what is going wrong because it's some stupid electronic problem and I still need to be able to get into work next week

At my local Vauxhall if my car breaks down and I take it in then ask for a courtesy car and then they dont have one for me as I haven't booked it 2 weeks in advance they say they can get me an Enterprise hire car for about £20 a day! Cheeky as fuck seen as though I'm allready paying them to sort my car out!

Sorted, they finally called me back. Will cost me £7.50 admin but thats it. Kinda cheeky when they are gonna be charging me about £50 just for diagnostics, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the problem is. Oh and before somone says, paperclip test doesn't work on this engine apparently, and I need more than just fault codes....
