200 bhp Golf vs 156 bhp Corsa?

Golf may take that one.

i think its quite mixed, there is alot of people who have reliable ones and theres quite a few that have problems, thing is, how many XE's have you seen hit 200,000 miles whereas golfs you seem to see a few of them hit that mark

Mine aint too far off, must be close to 130k, as long as you do the usual oil change, keep all fluids topped up and just general servicing the engine should last forever

never had any probs with me XE either..if the engine is rebuilt and taken care of with a good conversion shouldn't have any probs..

golf will be a whole lot better in comfy stakes though

my std corsa 20xe 1/4 mile tim - 14.6
my mates 204bhp seat ibiza cupra 20v turbo - 14.7

i beat him by 0.12. on the open road its who ever actually floors it first, and its fractional as to the difference. if anything id say they are a match just i can get off the start of the 1/4 mile better

either way, a golf 20vt is a good all round car, and theyre excellent engines
