i would want all glass removed door /boot shuts all done bonnet off the lot, definetaly worth spending an extra £500 or you will never be happy with it, i no i wouldnt and havent been anyway had car sprayed at least 3 times now. all different places.

I reckon for a good respray to budget £1500 for the same colour

obviously been in the trade is an advantage but ive got some lads in t-side who are hookin mine up for 400 and for that price u expect rubbish dull half effort sort of finish, but these lads have done some tidy work i would say unless you know the guys chances are you get what you pay for but keep lookin always try to speak to other customers etc. see if their previous jobs are spot on you never know you might stumble on a baragain

I paid £2000 to have mine done, fully confident that it was going to be a good job. That was windows out, doors, boot, bonnet all off, all rubbed down, to bare metal in some places, new mirrors and bumper fitted and resprayed in pearl white.

My last respray was £2500, but that was having the car dehandled, smooth roof, all the bodywork smoothed in, door poppers mounted, and the front bumper customised, there was a bit more as well, but then also reprayed with windows out, doors and boot off, including inside the engine bay and under thebonnet in black with mercury metalflake.

I am thinking of getting my mk3 Astra resprayed at some point, would it cost a lot because it's pearlescent paint (Satin Red)?
