the engine itself should be exactly the same as a cav or vectra one.
the inlet may point in a different direction, and the exhaust would obviously go the wrong way.
wiring loom is probably a bit longer, diff engine mounts but you'd change them anyway.
possibly the sump and pickup, but any fwd 2ltr one's should go on.

its not a plan as of yet. was just thinkin of buying this engine n keeping it for another corsa at some stage. for the simple reason is i know its a1 nick. my old boss owned the car, engine was removed by my m8 when the car was scrapped, they had robbed it of so many parts and eventually cut the b pillars out of it for a limo. (the guy whos owned the car manufactures limos) got a genuine 70k and i know all history, was only driven a mile up the road to work n back each day by the guy. was the company car. just thought it could make a cheap conversion... obviously not then

Is that a good thing though? It just mean it ran it for two miles a day while the engine was cold

Because the gear ratios would be COMPLETELY wrong and performance would suffer greatly.

Anyhow. You can get an X20XEV fitting kit from M-Tec. You need an FWD sump. You can get a steel on from a 2.0 8v enigne, an alloy one from any 16v big block or a new one from Vauxhall for £120.

Oh also, if you used a gearbox from an XEV'd vaux the clutch would be hydraulic.

sump is different, and i believe, you cant fit the vectra xev sump over the omega one because the pick up is different.
