Went to 3 petrol stations today and all had no diesel

Is there a shortgage??

Went in mac d the other day and they had a sign saying they had no stock of some stuff due to that fuel depo explosion

my local morrisons was the same.they only had 1 pump out out of 12 that had some left

its daft really because the fuel thats was at hemel was a type of aviation turbine fuel called illuminating kerosene,ya cant run a car on it but it can power ya wick lamps,it says it all on yahoo news

and you can run a car on aviation fuel i used to go up the local airfield and buy it for my track car years ago

i believe people use it for grass tracking too

that is prob the problem, we seem to have diesel out in lots of places local, hmmm must be a lot more diesel cars than petrol ones now...

we called it avgas

we got it out the tanker at the airfield that filled planes up

dont know if its the same as kerosene

norr thats not keresene,kerosene is more of an oil than a fuel becuase it has different hydrocarbon properties,if you were to run a car on it it wouldnt work because its not refined as petrol nor diesel so the timing wud be way of cock thats if a spark plug were to ignite it,av gas ave heard you can run a car off ,so your rite aswel didnt no you cud race with it tho but fair fair if ya can

used to race in super 1600's and hot hatches also known on some tracks as specials

car used was a fiesta
