Like i said in the other thread its not the engine mounting thats the problem its everything else thats a headache.

would i be right in saying the fly by wire throttle boyd would be the hardest bit to work out? is it not possible to switch to another throttle body? like a c20let one? i dunno.........

Ye it does cost a small fortune to transplant a Z20LET engine and convert your car to fly by wire throttle i got quoted £6995 inc VAT fully fitted including all ancillaries by courtney sport

Yep plus the fact the c20let you can mix and match looms and ecu's etc...
With the z20let you cant.

The z20let lump on its own is worth nothing without the ecu and loom its all engine specific that is the problem.

although it is techincally a better engine than the c20let, it just doesnt have the potential for tuning right now like the c20let does

Best thing to do is what you do when you mount a 1.8 20v t into an old Golf. Use aftermarket management and convert it to a cable throttle. Hardly a ball ache.
