getting some lightweight shit for my car in january, got a kevlar bonnet on order, depending on availability, and i'm thinking about a fibreglass bootlid too, how do i go about fixing it? standard latches?

also, other than doors (not until i get a full carge anyway), can i get other panels, like wings? i need ultra lightness and multiple colours......

cant find wings unless you get the flared version from the corsa maxi kit

i have bonnet
Boot on order
Doors when i get a cage

thats about it really

allthough i do have a plan, that involves a man who can make carbon fibre bits, and my front wings

are you gonna start putting lots of holes in the crash bars etc aswell?

ace, if you get hold of some, im sure i could find a few other people who would want them

martin c u2ud me a web address with fiberglass bonnet and boot, and said to ask them about kevlar for my bonnet

crashbars? i dont have a rear one

and if novas dont need a front one, neither do i (mark made me consider it)

rob hasnt got the rear one, may not have the front either ?

and i dont think there heavy enought to worry about cutting them etc, so had them powdercoated instead

depends what your planing to do with it

there fine mounted on a car, if you plan to jump up and down on it it may indeed turn out to be a bit weak

they are between 110 and 150 depending where from

strength doesnt really matter to me anyway mike, but if i had rear seats etc, i dont think id even consider it

the only problem with them is they flex more than metal, but a few panel pins should sort that nicely

Is this flared wings? or just the arch portion?

also www.ffwdmotorsport.co.uk do fibreglass wings, alltho i dont know anything on the weight of them, but they also have vents in them

ahh right, i wanted a carbon fibre one but i simply cant afford it, theres a bad boy bonnet on ebay for £110 though, which i suppose would suit.

same price as carbon fibre, tbh out of fibreglass and carbon fibre for same money, id go for carbon fibre
