Anyone fitted one of these?

Got mine all wired up , but when you push the switch it takes the boot off the catch, but then lets it back on to a sort of safety catch ?

Any ideas as to how I can sort it ?

seems as though u need to delay it so it holds open longer

have you tryed pulling it a few times ? My mate had a smooth boot and he had to push the button a few times to get it to come off the catch...

Yep , delaying it would work but how ?

I changed the switch to a basic on / off and that worked however i forgot i had lef it on and melted the solenoid

wind the rubbers out on your boot lid, so that they are pushing down more, this will make the boot spring open more when the solenoid opens

And would my boot not sit flush due to this

they are on the bootlid, the sit on the car body just above the rear lights, you dont need to wind them out much just a little bit,

i got mine running off rear wiper wiring that has auto delay

me 2, the purple and black wire is rear wiper if i rememba corrctly. then twist out the rubber to keep it open

Tried bringing the rubbers out but it hasnt worked.

Still not getting past the safety catch

screwed it into the tail gate with a washer inside the spring
