should be alright with that block, but, the head is different, smaller posrt although, the torque will be nice with the lexmaul on it
unless the head is ported of course

not sure which head is on it to be honest, headwork could be in the pipeline if it runs smoothly

if its the XEL head, itll run fine, but itll make less power due to the ports, but with headwork its all the same in the end anyway lol

had a look at the car there checked the oil topped up the water some more. checked acelarator cable and slackened it a little, is ideling around 2K
think exhaust gasket is leaking, would this cause the high idling

just thought, the icv is on the lower inlet. that was taken from old engine, it ran sweet as a nut for the whole of a mile and idled perfect, then a bit of metal decided to kill it

sorted put the wheels on and sat it on the ground to stop the drive shafts turning and idles perfect 8-900rpm
sounds a little tappy but it is a cold day and it hasnt been going in a while.
leaving it running for 5 min to heat up and check em light doesnt rear its ugly head
success at last
