Thing is with vauxs i know them pretty well, have friends based round them, and i can get parts cheap and do lots of things myself!
VAG - totally new ball game, and with me being a student i cant afford high servicing costs and if things go wrong it has to go to vw really!!
But golf with bbs rims and revo chip makes me do a little sex wee!

Keep looking for an Astra. Will be worth the wait to get the car you want and Vauxhall that you are familiar with. Never rush into buying a car!

6.5k really but can stretch to 7k region
cupra r i cant afford
Im a vaux nut though, but things have changed with life, so extremely modded cars like corsa had to go, i need a reliable car thats fast roughly 200bhp, and fun to drive and handles well!!

How much money you got, and how new are you looking at? Out of them i'd get the Astra, if you were talking Audi S3 i'd change my mind though

I sold my turbo last year for £7800 which was cheap and that had over 50K on and no leather like you want; so u prob might struggle to get one with the spec u want
What about a 328i Sport?

found a astra with 36k and fvsh, went to view today and it was an ex reps car and the black and white leather was fucked, needed one side respraying and 4 new alloys really
im very picky - look at how clean the last corsa was!!
Astra comes with everything, but i think for a mint one im looking at 8k region!!

this is what I get when I put it into Autotrader on a National search
http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/cars_search.asp?page=0&modelexact=1&lid=search_used_cars_full&make=VAUXHALL&model=ASTRA&variant=turbo&keywords=&min_pr=5000&max_pr=8000&mileage=5&agerange=&postcode=la11+7ha&miles=1500&max_records=100&source=0&photo=1&sort=3&ukcarsearch_full=SEARCH
theres a few in your budget with leather etc., its just whether they are knackered!
