My MOT expires in the middle of next month.

If for example I get it done before it expires and it fails, does that mean my existing MOT will be void?

Nope, you will still have your old mot valid. You can put your car in for an mot upto 1 month before it runs and not loose any time on your ticket, effectively having 13 months mot.

Not any more i dont think since they computerised it all, the terms will be on a website somewhere but im pretty sure if it fails its void MOT wise but dont hold me on that.

new computerized system means if the car fails if you MOT it early, then it will be declared a fail in regards to the existing MOT
