Anyone fitted f28 into a corsa that was 8v or had no pas? i have a gearbox mount from Lee mitchel but the shape and holes are a mile off it looks like its for a 16v / pas model where the mount is recessed into the chassis. If anyone has fitted it into a 8v / non pass model where did you get your mount??

alrite mate, do you know wenny who done my engine, well his mate does all mounts. from hartlepool, they will probs have them already made up. he's on mig i think as andyturbo,something like that,drives a blue nova turbo.do a search.

hi, i know andy, i let him take drawings of the mount i had so his will be the same as the one i have, but as i say they appear to be for 16v only

ohh right, i thought he would have some. he sells mounts n shafts so i thought he must have some f28mounts for 8v. hows the car coming along,all the engine in ok?

both mounts are bolted up just need a damn gearbox mount, tried hacking the one i got from lee m bit it is no where near, andy or my mate down the street may be able to sort something for me hopefully

Do you run a gearbox spacer with an F28? Thats all I can think of because I would have though it was only the engine mount that differed between 16v and 8v...

the rubbers are in different places, my cousin had a gsi and his rubber was inside the chassis leg, also just noticed you need to grind a lip away on the bottom of they bulk head for the engine to sit square aswell
