Wheels were in a state laquer coming off and kerb marks also wanted them black ago so decided to spray them...
First off had to get the laquer all off cause where it had been kerbed the laquer had cracked and all shoot had got inside and underneath, used some strong stripper stuff, surface cleaner, rubbing compound and peek polish to get the laquer off and buff the lip back up that took most the day as the laquer was extremely thick, once it was off it was time to give it a good clean and rough up the surface a bit... after that had to mask up the bits to spray bit of a pain to get a straight line but got there in the end just about ...

Pic in primer basically it was just spraying from then on 2 coats of primer, 2 coats of gloss and 2 of laquer...didnt want to put two many coats otherwise it would raise the level off the paint compared to the dish, finally removed all the paper and relaquered the whole wheel ...
Quite satisfying the result was...

Only another three more to go

Any chance of popping the finished one on the front and getting a pic to give us an idea of how the end result will look?
