I'm trying to think of some ideas for my final year project at uni.
Its going to be one of the following:
A web based application.
A mobile phone application.
More likely the web based app. And it will be developed in .Net
Current examples are a self-service hotel check in system or a house hunt website.
I'd like to go a bit more in depth than that to get as many marks as possible.
My main idea at the moment is an web based job search system that would be used within a large organisation to advertise internal jobs and an admin system to post new jobs/change jobs etc.....
Any thoughts?

what about a real time room booking system for a large corporation with several buildings to manage.
with the options to book conference facilities and presentation stuff such as projectors...
