are projectors any good for everyday use? i.e. to watch tv?
I don't really want a big tv in my room and would be much easier to tuck away after use.

Depends on what you want to use if for???
mine is for the occasional use for films and the odd party, wouldn't recommend for daily use.....
I have an LCD tv for daily use....
but you need to get a screen to get the best prcture

I was looking at an LCD, but i can't justify paying the stupid prices they are at the moment, unless anbody know where I can get a good one for around £300

Yeah we have an LCD projector. ITs great it has a setting to turn the LCD upside down so you can attach the Projector to the ceiling. FAAAAAAANNNNTASTIC piece of kit, But we use it for parties and playing computer games. wouldnt use it for tv usage.

IF you dont trust how long time the bulb has left why not just ask the person!?!? Every LCD projector tells you how many hours it has been used for and how many it expects to last for. SO no lying can be made. If you get it and its different dismiss for false advertising!?!?!?

Hey if you dont know you have to ask. ONLY FAIR. But they are great and i would insist ppl buy them great for nights in BIG EXPLOSION FILMS, great for computer games.
Used ours over christmas for those old style computer games that come on those remotes. Was so funny had every one in stitches. Pacman and galaxian in cinema view QUALITY
