I ran 6000K in my corsa with 110W - Not HID just standard bulbs

No probelms with melting although lens was very hot lol

All on standard wiring

Bulbs were from Japan off ebay and I ran them for two years and didn't fail

Cannot beat proper Xenons though

HIDs operate at lower temperatures than normal bulbs so that shouldn't be a problem. Also HIDs dont draw as much current so no danger of melting the wiring.

For the best vision the 4700k are the ones to have. All of them will be brighter than standard bulbs though.

I'm thinking of buying some soon. Quite like the purple tint ones
Unsure what fitment Morrette twin headlight bulbs are though

That's the best colour IMO! 8000+ is too blue!

Besides, the lower the colour temperature, the brighter the light!

I would hold fire on buying some at the moment as my mate bought some exactly the same from the same guy and he had a letter through on Saturday morning with a bill for import tax that had never been mentioned in the deal! Got the lights last week then got the letter seperately on Saturday morning!

Two lads at work have them but H1 and H7 fitment

You have to see them to believe how bright and crystal clear they are.

Cant justify paying £350 fo the kits from Ultra tho

I'm in on the group buy the fact you can swap them betwen cars is really appealing, 600k is the best trad eoff of colour and brightness/legailty.
