my current pc basedon XP1800+, 768mb RAM etc etc has worked fine, but i recently tested mt RAM (the 256mb stick) in another board to find a fault for my mate (it ended up being CPU). I also tested my grpahics card.
however ive put everyting back in my PC an it runs perfectly fine for 20mins then just 'freezes'
any ideas? theres no loose cables etc and no warning beeps/errors it just freezes.
could the stick of RAM i used in another board be dodgy?

if it does it a 'set' time after booting, then check cooling is ok
and try this
http://www.memtest.org/
that will say if your ram is fooked, but if your CPU is overheating, and/or chipset, it will cause errors to appear in perfectly good ram also...
