I fitted my clarion DVD player/screen thing into my corsa, did an ok job, but as i now have a new car, im interested in getting someone to fit it proffesionally and make it work and look good (wires hidden etc)
Where is best place to do it? as i allready have the unit i guess most ICE places will tell me to fook off.
Advice?

Howcome you cant fit it nice and neat yourself? As long as you hide wires under trim, behind dash etc. and cable tie where necessary it should look factory fit.
ICE places should do it for you even though you haven't bought it from them. Would expect it will cost alot though for what it is

All proper ice places will do it for you. I took some speakers there once to get them fitted and there wasnt a problem at all.
They fit them all day everyday so you will get a really good job done and they arnt too expensive either.

yeah. i got a small black box. it should all tuck away behind HU. Thats all they will do, just spend some time moving wires about so the little box can fit in.
At least try that before someone else does exactly that and charges you for it. And it always feels better when you've done stuff yourself

As mentioned the HU has a brain, is massive as is the 30ft loom with it, i am no good with wires i can wire speakers and thats about it.
I did an ok job, i just dont understand earthing etc, i had some interference problems and also the earth kept working loose, would rather someone fitted it for me so i didnt have the headache 
I have found someone to fit it anyway now, hes a good boy

Earth = self tapper and screw into the chassis of the car

let us know if him fitting it solves the interferance problems, and how he does it
is it coming through all speakers, or just those running off amps?

i fixed it as the rca leads and loom were too close.
Just want it to be right first time and not have to take my interior apart twice lol
|
