The only problem I see is the pully on the PAS pump is for a multi V belt wher as the 1.2 doesnt have the multi V belt

You need the rack, pump, pipework and a new pully. Oh, and the belt to drive the pump.... Will be a total arse to do with the engine still in the car unless Matt can do it at work

maybe the steering can be lightened without the use of PAS
slightly wider wheels can spread the weight of the car across the tyre contact surface..
my standard 1.2 wheels making steering solid, but i dont have a prob with it..
but i drove a friends corsa of exactly the same spec, with wider alloy wheels and steering was so effortless, even at slow speed
worth considering

Jambo its much easier if you got the electronic PAS from a 1.2 16v Corsa, a lot of the Nova boys are doing this now.

that or put in a PAS rack, and then use a 106/saxo electric PAS pump, would be the other way to do it.

How much do those parts cost? Rough ball park figures would be appreciated Wouldn't mind fitting PAS to the 2.0 because that is actually a pretty heavy engine

wider wheels = more drag = heavier
