right i havent sold anything before on ebay, and im thinking of putting my car for sale on there tonight.

what should i remeber to do, i.e. reserve etc

i have been told to put in title CORSA (not saxo, fiesta etc) as will get views from people looking for those cars.

any other tips on what to put when putting an advert on ebay?

cheers guys

wouldn't put 'Corsa (not saxo, fiesta etc)' because if they've typed in saxo or fiesta they're obviously not looking for a corsa

Don't put the reserve at the maximum you'd like to get, put it at the minimum you'd take for it.

Make it clear if there's anything wrong with the car so it doesn't backfire (not literally)

Make sure you reserve the right to end the auction early if you want to - this way you can end early if u get a good offer in the mean time

Not putting bad points down may backfire as the winning bidder could say the advert was misleading

just be as full and honest as you can be.... Write in concise english too! Thats my main gripe with ebay sellers

Plenty of info and pics

Think about selling with no reserve either (with lots of advertising) as this will encourage bidders to bid.... bidders sometimes get carried away - there is a certain risk though :/

Dont put a reserve at all you'll get more bids.............. but if your worried about it selling for a fiver get a mate to bid your ideal reserve price(bit cheeky but could save a loss)
