i know this has been asked alot, but i cnat find anything when i search

do saftey devices amke a cage for sunroof model corsas as really want a cage but dnt want to get rid of my sunroof as:
a. bit hard to do

b. like my corsa

aslo how expensive are b pillar cracks to repair?

wet sand and fill it urself bud costs hardly anything to repair those had to do it to both sides of my car easy to do

mate i aint just gonna fill a crack i mean cost to get ir cut out and new plate welded in proberly dnt want it crack again anytime soon

they do, but made to order i think...

i emailed them, the cages are an inch shorter on each leg to accomadate the sunroof

hence my reply ed, i mean i know u have to cut a peice out and then weld some bits in and then get it sprayed but how much ish is it as need it doen asap before i look into engine conversion

no they dont, and they are unhelpful about it on the phone too, that was when they were based in uk too... i decided to not bother spending my money with them and had one made else where by a much friendlier company. stoney ginger has a normal corsa one in his sunroof car

I think what you do is buy a plate from Vauxhall that spot welds onto the back of the B pillar, or it is stuck on with special adhesive, and just grind out the rust and weld over the crack... I'm researching into it anyway. I will have an answer soon enough

wow how big is the crack we talking about thought you meant like a small bit of rust starting to come through like a crack in the paint job. You mean like a large chunk of the B pillar cracked?

hmmm borster were did u get ur cage from and how much did it cost? also can u get a x diagional and a front cage from the same ppl?

From what I remember my Uncle (bodyshop manager at my Vaux dealer) saying about repairing the cracked pillar they weld a plate on the inside of the car. Dont know the ins and outs of it though...

not a large chucnk just crakcinp paint little but if rust and i know its the b pillar cracking as its a common problem

Any crack will just re-appear if you just slap a load of filler on over it. Be it within a day or a year, it will happen.

I will experiment on my car first. If I fix it ok then I will gove yours a crack Nath. If you are daring enough

lol aye i am as looking at gettin a newer shell 1.2 bass model and turn it into a proper track type weekedn car and put the interior back in mine and leave it as a daily runner
