Some of the staff that i work with play it, i understand wat its all about. but personally just dont see the point. i takes HOURS and HOURS and HOURS.

Used to play Everquest 2, until Sony absolutely ruined it with a major patch, and turned it into more of an arcade game...

Never been interested in WoW, since it's predominantly PvP, and I much prefer PvE......plus, compared to Everquest 2, WoW just looks too cartoony.

Am now waiting for Dungeons & Dragons Online, which should be released sometime later this year......that'll be my next MMO to play.

Dan, you can choose what kind of sever to play on, PvP, PvE, RollPlay PvP or RollPlay PvE so there is something there for you.

It's one stonking game and so fricking addictive!

I know it has PvE servers, but everyone I know who plays on them has commented that they're all full of kids who fire off abuse left/right/centre at everyone nearby - one even followed a mate round for an hour, and attacked everything my mate wanted to kill, to prevent him from playing properly. Not the sort of "friendly" atmosphere that started me playing Everquest 2, to be honest...

And, at the end of the day, it's still World of Warcraft......nope, still going to wait for D&D Online, sometime later this year.

They're both MMORPG's (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games), yes, but World of Warcraft has a fantasy-setting whereas EVE Online is based in space...

I play WOW tis a great game, have to destroy your life to really get anywhere with it tho, so i dont lol.

Wow hasd best atmosphere, good graphics and very intuitive interface, the best of the MMORPG's id say.

All you guys lvl 60 Molten Core goers?

mate at uni was explaining this game to me. its physically impossible to become top ranked on your own

worked out that you'd have to play the game 16 hours a day for 3 - 4 weeks straight (something like that, can't remember)

After being heavily disappointed with Dungeons & Dragons Online (DDO), I've now started playing Anarchy Online...

It's an older MMO, and more based around cyberpunk than fantasy (ie. laser assault-rifles, rather than axes & swords), but it's completely free to download AND play until January 2007!

The first one was a practice, and so I fucked up the talents, etc. So I started another, but got sick of the dickheads on the Alliance so I switched to another server and started a Horde warrior. I'll start another when I get bored of lvl60.

I'm on Darksorrow with the Horde, Stormreaver with the Alliance.
