How have you people fitted the throttle cable to the throttle body in c16xe when using Mantzel Powerbox ?
I used the bracket that came with the Mantzel and the car is a bitch to drive. The cable is pulling the linkage for the throttle plate from a 180 degree angle. First when you press the pedal nothing happens. When you press a little more the plate jumps open and it revs to 3k.
I feel stupid revving high at the traffic lights. Should I just make a higher mounting bracket that bolts to the Powerbox ?

Sounds like you havent routed the cable very well. Any pictures of your setup?

Hopefully the pic works. The server has been acting weird lately.

sdjust the clip on the cable that controls the throttle position so that you get the plate opening as soon as the throttle is pressed.

I tried to adjust it but it doesnīt help. Itīs the angle of the wire that makes the opening of the plate difficult. Well, thatīs what I think.

How it is now, and how I think it could be solved. It just seems weird that it goes like that.

ive fitted loads of mantzel inlets and never had a problem. they all worked fine with the angle on the cable.
what are the revs sitting at on idle?
is there any play between the pedal and the throttle plate? i.e is the movement on the plate instant or does the pedal travel down at all first?

That sounds like exactly what I have to do.
I have used cable ties to secure the cable so it doesnīt move. There is no play between the pedal and the plate. There was some but I got rid of it by adjusting the clip on the cable.
Itīs just the stiffness of the pedal that causes problems. Iīll try what Siberia had done.
Some Volvo 240 tried to race me because I was revving so high when trying to get the car moving
