prev. thread:
http://corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=223911

the thread's in the wrong section.. And, I sold the 16xe and almost all parts..

so time for a new thread.. this time in the right forum (I hope )

The 16xe running at 155bhp was great, but unfortunately gave up on me..

burned headgasket, meltingspots in head, polished cylinders and i got a bit fedd up

pics of deheading:
http://www.stripdir.com/sd/?url=http://fluitje.xs4all.nl/media/CorsaTuningClub/Pics/Cylinderkopdemontage/

pics of the rest of the dismounting:
http://stripdir.com/sd/?url=http://fluitje.xs4all.nl/media/CorsaTuningClub/Pics/Zuigerdemontage/

my christmass present:

Recently rebuilt c20xe
82 degr thermostat
allready in a corsa! so includes all needed parts!
std engine and ecu ecept for the mtech sfi-replacement and K&N filter
including exhaustsystem etc...

because i've never done it before.. it did take me alot of time to get the engine out without breaking stuff

but after a few days of cursing it was ready to get welded:

Copied the M-Tech chassis strenght kit

Going to paint the entire engine bay again so dont mind the brown goo

rented a box for the rest of the work.. I think the engine will go in this upcomming weekend

Cheers!

I don't realy have a goal.. these parts just came as a bargain from other corsa clubmembers.. and the mantzel RR chip wil be the final part on any car for me (really good stuff!!)

anything above 160bhp will be good

There still a large list of little things to do before its done.. like making the loom fit the corsa, some modified hoses, etc

engine seemed to be a 20xe converted to c20xe

yes.. i do have an mtech set from the donorcar but i hear to many people about those braking @ 1/4mile take-offs...

the gsi driveshafts here in holland have been tested up to 350ps (nova 2.0 8v compressor + nos) so.. it'l be fine!
