recently had my my air flow meter changed due to loss of power. i hear its a common problem, from the posts ive seen over the net.
Today at the lights the car cut out, i think ecu light came on, would go for about 45 seconds (how annoying and embarassing ) i stopped 5 min after driving, to see if revs stayed up, and they were fine. When i stopped at the lights, the revs sitting at 1000 dropped as if i had turned car off!
what could it be?
thanks guys/gals
why dont the air flow meters last , are they made on the cheap, the old air flow meter looks in such good condition!

took it in to dealer as im under warranty, and it seems the air flow meter they replaced is faulty, so its getting changed. strange thing was it was fine to drive for the first 5 minutes, then the lack of power kicks in, oh well, its being fixed.
