I was on my way to meet some of my mates about 2hours ago and was on a dual carrage way when a red corsa c sri came at the side of my tring to over take me so i knocked it down a gear and gave the B some hammer and there wasn't much in it but in the end he backed off as he couldnt pull away.
Just woundering what BHP a 1.4 SRI C has.

Cheers Joe

More BHP and more streamlined, but heavier IIRC.

Wind resistance won't start mattering until your'e going far too fast.

Thats either a 1.4 with 90 brake, in which case there's not much in it, or a 1.8 with 125 in which case he should have been quicker.

I'm not sure that they're so much heavier tbh.

it deffo wasn't the 1.8 SRI because he would have over taken me with no problems. so the C has 90bhp which is even to mine if thats correct.

so much heavier cause of extra sound deadening, and better crash safety=more metal.

Its my suspicion as well, as is generally what happens with new models. I just felt we should back it up with some proper measurements.
