Sealed off and cruisers were blocked in when they tried to leave. This happened at 10pm. Last people had their producers / VOSA inspection at around 2.30am.
Pic thanks to ste_nova.

We had a good crack though.
Quote of the night had to be a random lad to Ian, me and others, "Do you reckon I can can my nova up on this (foot)bridge, where does it go?"
I got a prohibition notice to order the car off the road for a tail light that was out, soon got it sorted and removed just got to produce documents

They were let out as soon as they had been given producers and inspected. That queue was moving, just very slowly!

precise reason I won't go to cruises, too much hassle for too little enjoyment.

police should be doing proper police work. not moaning at genuine people chattign about cars. they should be out chasing thieves etc, and if they really want to arrest young people, then just look for a row of shops and there will be a big group of chavs with bottles of cider for them to moan at

No joined the back and got producer and a check. All came back fine plus we had a conversation with one of the WPCs about her Saab convertible that she cruises around in winter with with the roof down as well
Police I spoke to were sound. VOSA guy was sound. Checks didn't cost me anything.
The Community Support Officer was funny though. He got called over to hold to torch for someone but he wouldn't leave the Volvo because we were watching the ANPR reading the reg plates, I think he thought we were going to jump in and steal it
