Looking to get my Ibiza remapped in the summer. Two front runners are REVO and Jabba.
Jabba reckon they can get me 175 - 180bhp and 290 - 305 on the torque.
This service is 325 pounds, and for another 100 I could get 181 - 190bhp and over 310 on the toque, however I hope to stay on the standard clutch and they are only rated upto 300 f/lbs
They also RR to analyse the results however apparently Jabbas facilities are a wee bit optimistic It would be good to see the new torque curve on paper.
Anyone dealt with them before? Any good?

Have you heard about Custom code??
http://www.jbsautodesigns.co.uk/customcode/index.html
Heard lost of good reports about this so I'm thinking of going for one on my Cupra-R. JBS is pretty close to me though so guess it depends where you are.
Was all set to get a REVO but heard a few bad things about reliability and erratic power delivery.
Jabba are a well respected VAG tuner though so they are a good choice.

Yeah I had heard of Custom Code on the SCN forums, but never seriously looked into it.
Cheers for the suggestion - Ill have a gander at their service.
Going to uprate suspension and brakes before the remap though.

iv spoken to both re: my leon cupra, can get about 215bhp from either revo or jabba, tbh revo sounded like they knew there stuff more than jabba when questioned about using lower octane fuel after the remapping process the guy at jabba didnt seem to know and just seemed to want to flog me a boost controller, the revo guy gave me a proper answer about knock sensors and what would happen etc
seriously considering revo even tho i was admant about jabba, because its more convinient for me to get to a revo station and for this convo i had.
Also other little things like emails i sent to jabba not getting replied to, and revo replying within a few hours
guys at jabba also didnt know off the top of ther heads wether it best to plumb in the boost gauge to the FPR or top of the dv, again revo advised me on this straight away

After looking at the CC website, Im still thinking of Jabba and REVO for my front runners. For CC phase 1 its more expensive and for smaller gain than Jabba and Revo equivelants.
I had a long conversation with a chap at Revo he thinks that I will be perfectly safe on standard components, however surely with that much more torque an uprated clutch would be the minimum recomendation?

Everyone has different opinions, id steer clear of revo and go to Jabbasport. As far as i can remember, jabba also do a RR before and diagnose any problems before the remap too

id just heard too many horror stories regarding the revo map and free trials, heard the revo maps are too harsh and aggressive and that the free trials were not reverting back to the standard map and causing running issues. Phoned Jabbasport a few times when i had the audi and they were very helpful, unlike AmD who put the phone down when i asked about their turbo upgrade without an exhaust. Of all the well known VAG tuning companies, ive heard the least bad things from Jabbasport, but i have heard one or two.

maybe you spoke to the wrong person at jabba lol
you plum the boost gauge into the pipe at the inlet manifold normally at the FPR. as for revo they use more boost than jabba. custom code looks quite good. it was the method I was going to go down had I got a octavia VRs

Yeah they seem very good and quote figures your car is likely to achieve they will also travel to your house to remap the car - only draw back is you don't get a rolling road session
