Calling all gsi/steiny/irmscher people...
When fitting your sideskirts - do you have to take off the front mudflaps?
Is there any way of leaving them on?

You have the mudflaps that I had when I 1st bought my car. They are the later mudflaps.

The mudflaps I have on now are longer and made from a different plastic and have different fixings. They are for the GSi kit

The Vaux logo is silver and smaller on the GSi ones

I bought them for Teddy off here. He had a set that hadn't been opened.
They are probably about £30 for all 4 from Vauxhall. You dont really need the back ones though but it just keeps it consistent as otherwise your front ones will have silver badges and rear ones will have white badges.

Is there a special name/model they are called if I go to Vauxhall to purchase a set?
Also in what ways do they fit different onto the car?

They have a clamp that slots onto the arches and tightens up. Theres also some other fixings that I couldn't work out. They are kind of universal - fit Astras and Vectras too.
I just put the clamp on tightened it up and then nailed the other side of the mudflap in as couldn't work out any other way of doing it You'll see what I mean if you buy them.
You could keep the ones you have now but you'd have to nail them in and they dont fit right with the skirts. Look funny
