Lower arms are £20 for pattern part, stubs axles might be dealer only part.

Lower arm is a cheap job. You ought to be thankful to no chassis damage. Also, theres no snow in kent!

I had a rear stub axle go. Expensive part, if you can find one cheap then fair play

Think I paid £70 just for the axle all in when my rear wheel bearing went up in smoke, taking that with it .

Part number 90129572, but i would check where it mounts to the axle to se if there is any damage. its held on with 4 bolts iirc. might as well get new shoes too and bearings if they are fooked.

I did this over xmas - slid on snow when turning into a corner and hit a kerb.

needed new top mount, tracking re set, new o/s leg and bush kit as well as labour which was quite expensive.

Luckily did not need a new hub as mine was undamaged, though my garage had my car for 3 days

£160 lighter now

Stub axle... 5 er from the scrappy and 10 minutes to fit... including making a cuppa chances are that you've bent the beam though, they seem to go easy

Asked my boyfriend and he said he had to have a lower suspension arm at £50 + vat, tracking £15 + vat, new tyre £38 + vat (but you may not need that) and then a new wheel he had to get but get one second hand as there very cheap, then also £30 labour. Sarah

right disaster tonight. was driving down the road then this metal on metal squeek apeared (like when ur hand break is left on) . a mile later down the road the feking wheel, break hub and bearing fell off slightly as im doing 30/40 down the road. haad no breaks what so ever no hand break nuffing. and i have to stop coz i have a t junction up ahead. eventualy the car came to a rolling stop. got it on the flat bed rac rescue truk. got it home and rolled it off onto my drive. the rear wheel was literaly 1 foot from the back of the truck and the wheel fell off completely. so now i have my car with 3 wheels sat on my drive sitting on the break drum. pic is a bit big gotta resize it.
