Im going to open this upto everyone because we've had one good meet in Lincoln and one good meet in Northampton now.

In both places we have established cracking locations and i feel there is a good number of people from both Northampton and Lincoln.

Is anyone from anywhere else in the region, where they would like to suggest having a meet?

The plan was to keep alternating the meets. IE, have it in Lincoln one month and Northants the next month.
Do you want to do this or do you want to have meets every two weeks, so you have a meet in Northants and a meet in Lincoln every month?

I get the general feeling there is a group from Northants who will turn up to every meet aswel as people from the west mids and other regions, but in Lincoln theres only really me who comes to the meets, so im wondering if its worth having up here.

Anyway, the poll is for where you want to have the next meet up. BUT PLEASE COMMENT ON FUTURE MEETS IN RELATION TO MY QUESTIONS.

id have to say northants, having been an organiser and trying ot organise one somewhere else in the east mids i didnt get anywhere, people weren't interested in helping etc... northants meets always had a good turnout which is nice.


also its not far for me to limp my car home

Why dont we have one in Leicester?

hmm, leaving me and sutton with big decisions to make.

Personally after having a meet in both locations now, the turnout was better in Northants than Lincoln.
But, in Lincon im sure some of the Yorkshire region will come down, eg Matt H and Kif!

Rob - it was only 75 miles when i went to Tamworth that time!

yes thats 150 odd miles, its a long way compared to 100 ish to northants for me mate , plus im a student so dont have money to waste on petrol all the time

hmm maybe it should be held in Northampton then. It seems like every can make the effort to come to it and also its probably the place to get the biggest turnout.

could you work it so maybe 1 in 4 meets are up here? or maybe have another location thats inbetween and rotate through the 3?
i cant afford a tank of fuel every time a meet is on

Rob - very true.

See, the plan was to have alternate them anyway, ie, have one in lincoln one month then in northants the next. But the trouble is, its such a poor turnout up in Lincoln.

Definately!!

Was hoping to have the next meet this sunday, but thats too soon now!

Im thinking somewhere in Nottingham at the minute, but dont really know anywhere. maybe have that in the summer when reedy can help out!

I want to try another meet in Lincoln though, as i know there are a lot more members that couldnt make it last time.
