Don't waste your money on Carbon Fibre or Fibreglass pannels. They are the least important bits. As are Perspex windows, especially as you would have to be an idiot to fit Perspex windows as they would shatter as soon as a bird shits on them.
You forgot brakes.

tis what im thinking
i could buy a track prpared mx5 or mr2 etc and it would cost about 4k 5k
ed i already have brakes,
erm, dunno what to do. it would be wise to continue to sell all my bits and then buy somthing already done,

Will it be road legal or purly for track??
Anything jap is going to cost more to mod/fix - id stick to a corsa/nova or a 205 etc

dude,
WHY WHY WHY do you need to sort the fueling etc?
If you are building a track car just start off with the esentials...
Car - tick
Engine - tick
whoohoo
you dont need the shell welded, you dont need a cage.
Get the car up and running.... all these extra bits can be done later as, and when
If i was doing another corsa (2.0) id start with buying the following.
In Order
Brakes
Susp
tyres
Diff
Buckets + harnesses
cage
more power
then start thinking about seam welding, perspex windows and fancy fuel/fire systems....

why did you do that
It'll be cheaper buying a new shell then or re-fitting std tank/lines etc
Custom/Fitted tanks etc are not cheap.

tank is £400 with built in swirl pot
then braided lines
so say £450 - £500 for it all plumbed in

its mainly that if i spent the money on a car that was a road-track car anyway when i came to sell it i wouldnt lose as much as a 6-7 grand corsa.
even if the corsa was full built i would struggle to get 2.5-3k back
where as a road-track car i would only lose a little
