Good points:

how'd it happen?

Any other partied invloved?

May be best to just pay for the repairs/new car yourself rather than beign shafted by your insurance for a few years.

It's about 1ks worth of car.... so is never going to be favorable to fix

It sounds like it could be if the wheel is bent in, could be suspesion damage and all sorts. Its hard to say without pictures though.

Probably a write off then.
If you're insured and it wasn't your fault, then it doesn't matter. New car time.

the slam panel is meant to be slammed...

If the chassis leg is bent etc

this bit

it'll need straightened.... i didnt believe id'd ever get the car 100% straight again so i binned it. Its not cheap to fix prop either so think about that....

It looks a fairly standard car, they arent rare.... Just take it as a bit of badluck and get a new one.

Also.... think it through before making a claim off insurance. Is it worth it?

I would bin car and get a new one....Going to be more than it's worth to repair..

So who's fault was it? you need to sort this bit out as you can claim off their insurance.

Unless you were going to fast in th icy snowy condition lost control and hit a wall????
