been thinking.....
instead of blowing 14k or so on a supra..... a 10+yr old car.... why not get a car that doesnt need any, or much, work to it.....
I do bugger all miles a year.... i'd prob swap/trade it after a year... so re-sale would be a plus on a newer standard car ?!?!
I'd prob have to take some finance out, for a year maybe, but i'd prob spend that money on turbos or something if i bought the supra...
so...
tonights thoughts were.....
newish 911's..... only really like the GT3 kitted lookalikees.... but they are all about 28k+ - not willing to take 10k on finance
TVR Tuscan 4.0 speed6 - around the 20k mark...... nae bad
Do all tuscans have the targa top?

hmmm... reading some pretty horific stories about them
Engine rebuilds seem to be matter of course on a 4/5yr old car with 20 odd k miles

I see your point AK, but if i were buying a newer car that wouldnt need much doing to it, just by reputation, i would steer well clear of TVR> As much as id love one
Why not something else?????

If you want a V8 but not the hassle of fixing it, get a Network Q Monaro.
I will be forced to kill you if you do though.
