hi and welcome to the site
edit... is that the correct blaupunkt model??? as i can not find the info on it only the los angeles mp72 and not the mp52 ??
You can get a lead for just the steering controls only what comes in 2 parts for around 30-35 pounds sterling but if you want the display working aswell you have to buy the blaupunkt lead (try the link below)
the alpines are the same if you want both display and controls you have to buy there leads @ 50-65 pounds sterling
the 2 main aftermarket lead makers are...
http://www.autoleads.co.uk
and
http://www.connects2.com

i have been looking for this information for over a year or so and seems to be kept well guarded secret by the companys that have it. I got a few dead leads given to me i took 2-3 of them apart and thay were filled with resin\glue so you cant even look at them the one lead that i could take to bits had no markings on the components (a mixture of surface mount and normal parts). the technical information on the data lines is hard to come by aswell.
btw the autoleads link was my fault i put .com instead of .co.uk sorry Now fixed !!!!

try to put them into some nitro diluent for 24 hours .......the resin will go awayvery very easily..... if you do that send me a photo of the circuit i will try to reproduce it
a my friend could help us!!!!!!!!.........he says to me that must to know the protocol that uses the blaupunkt stereo to display out than he project an interface for us that translate the blaupunkt protocol to opel/vauxall i2c protocol........anyone knows how is called blaupunkt protocol???
