How much would I be looking at for 4 Alloys to be re-furbed, then the colour changed to white? The Alloys aint in too bad-a nick, just a few minor curb marks round the edge. All the Alloys would have tires on an all if that makes a difference

always seems to be the case with the powder coated alloys, that the lacquer eventually lifts from the colour coat. To be honest normal base coat and 2k lacquer works fine, plus its solvent based so the lacquer will always stick to the paint, unless the paint is left too long before lacquer, but any good painter will lacquer within a couple of hours of finishing the basecoat, otherwise the surface is too smooth and the solvent is dry so the lacquer won't stick and will detorite (sp?) over time. Beleive it or not but the powder coated finish is'nt much stronger than a real good 2k lacquer like glasurit.

also if you want your alloys in white, you could coat use a 2k colour white instead of a basecoat like silver, so its stronger again with the lacquer as well
