surely not having mirrors means your car is definately unroadworthy.

probably but its only 10 miles or so, and probably worse that the rear veiw mirror fell off half way there! but as i only had one seat in the car i could look about quite easy!

I wouldnt worry about it, as said above as long as there are no sharp edges then you will be fine. As for the number plate bulb, I havent had a working plate light since owning my car (2 years :lol and have never been stopped about it.

haha.
You know when you took a turn did it feel like you were gonna fall over?
That reminds me of the old crappy corsa seats, the ones that have no bolsters and feels like you gonna slide off when you take a corner

You must have a huge flat mate!
Driving without a seat is quite amusing though!

Yes but Ian, the point Matt H made was no number plate light, not no bumper

I can't find the pic, but when I was working on my car I drove it around the farm sitting on a chair from our kitchen

i have driven mine with no steeringwheel
once i drove mine round the block with no dash in, just 2 seats and a steering wheel - had no glass in it and no front number plate, 13s and no bumpers with half of it in primer
i went about 500 meters and bumped into a cop car, he swang rand and chased, rang my dad up, flew down my street and turned into my cul-de-sac where my dad had the garage door open, drove in my garage, out the other side, he shut the doors and i turned the engine off
was quite funny
next time when swapping cars over i only go to the end of the cul-de-sac
