Corsa VXR
This is a sneak preview for the planned Corsa VXR 1.6 Turbo. No further information is available at present, but we will let you know as soon as there is.
The new three-door Corsa will certainly turn heads - but the most dramatic version will be the flagship VXR. And, as with all performance Vauxhalls, there will be more to it than big wings and alloys.
Revealed by bens cars and set to debut at next autumn's Paris Motor Show, it should offer at least 180bhp from its 1.6-litre turbo engine.
It will also feature a six-speed gearbox and Lotus-tuned suspension. Inspired by the Fiat Punto Arbarth concept, the unique body has flared arches and a more aerodynamic front bumper. Drivers can expect 0-60mph in seven seconds and a top speed of nearly 140mph.
A Vauxhall spokesman told us: "We anticipate 70 per cent of VXRs will be sold in the UK. We have high hopes for the hot Corsa."
Available as a three-door only, the flagship gets a sporty interior to match its bodywork. This will offer Recaro seats, plus luxuries such as air-conditioning and electric windows.

If it's a hot hatch, why does it have "luxuries such as air conditioning"

Why shouldn't it. People aren't going to buy a car for the ammount it's going to be sold for it's got a poverty spec Merit interior. Also, most people don't get a hard on because thier car can go up a straight piece of road in 12 seconds.

In other words, if it happens, it will be a touring car.
