its the amount of nitro in the mixture i used to use 10% for messing about and 20-25% for racing the fuel starts to break down after a year or so. if your changing fuels you should really get a glow plug to match the fuel aswell

Yeah it's all about performance really.... i use 16% in my car (Hpi RS3-4) and 25% in my truck (Hpi Savage25)

too little nitro (low %) might make ur car run a little weak) and too high ( high %) might make ur car run too hot... best bet if ur unsure ask ur local model shop... and dont use that year old fuel! lol.. the nitro will have seperated from the oil by now.

And stay away from a brand of nitro fuel named "Tornado", I've heard bad thigns about that stuff

I used to use the model Tenhnics stuff.

So between 10-20 should be fine for scaring small children and cats?

I use a blue fuel, forgot its name ill find out when i get home, if you use that fuel all the time and the engine goes wrong, you can return the engine to the company that supplies the fuel and they will replace it if the engine/engine components are stained blue from the fuel, so i am told at the shop i got it from
