Jabba, Revo and Custom Code are the more common remaps available.

Mines off to Jabba in summer - between 175 and 190 bhp expected

good good

Just watch the torque. They dont mention that above 300 your standard clutch will wear out quicker, so I am going for the tamer remap.

Sachs are a popular clutch upgrade, but is like 700quid fitted from Jabba...

Im running APR on my 1.8T. Boost to about 1.7bar holding 1.5 producing 220bhp out of the 180 engine.

Got a mate running custom code on his Ibiza and says its pretty good. Heard lots of good things about it.

Stay clear of plug and play items like "Tunit" i used to work for them and dodgy isn't even the word!

extra power is not always a good thing. if you notice most TDi tuners get 30-35hp out of the 130hp engine. about 40 from the 150 engine.

there is nothing really wrong with plug and play units the problem arises when you turn them up to much and you start overfueling like mad.

You can alter more than just the fueling on the new digital tuning stuff but they are basically just fooling the ecu into doing something its not supposed to. Engine management lights trip on. Injector looms melt, abs and traction systems interfered with, serious ecu malfunctions. We did a brand new Pug 607 once and the guy had to get a new car it messed his electrics up so much!
