well, i noticed this thing which is quite strange:
as far as I know, the car hasn't been in an accident...(well that was stated by previous owner)
but the thing is I can see a difference in illustration 1(i) and 2(ii) i.e the distance betwwen the wheel and the wheel arch near the door panel
and the difference obviously shows to the front. 1(ii) being more than 2(i)
My guess is that it has hit a kerb or been in an accident
I dont have better pics for now, but someone please tell me what could be the prob?
And what needs to be fixed?
Thank you all

my mate smacked into a kerb with his corsa, it sort of pushed the wheel to the rear of the car by about 200mm, he had to take it to a body shop to get his chassis re aligned, cots him about £200 i think.

on pic 2. one its slightly further away so i dunno if it will make a difference.
they are at a very slightly different angle to which could be causing the slight difference in look.

yeah well he hit the kerb well hard, he said he was doing about 40, and clipped it, just bent the whole chassis leg apparantly, it was quite an expensive mistake

Im not 100% sure, take it to a garage and get them to check it my brother took a look at mine and told me, wishbone cost under £50 for my astra and my brother fit it for me ps i done my by hitting a curb at about 40mph and the wheel was touching the wing!

Check your tie bar hasnt pulled free. Thats the rod going from your wishbone to the front lower cross member. I had a bump, mine popped out, and wheel went back into the arch.
Are your tyres wearing oddly?

you need to park on a flat level ground with the wheels facing straight.
measure from the edge at mid height of the back rim on each side in turn to the equivalent edge on the front wheel.
compare these figures and you'll know if you have a problem.
a picture proves nothing.

I hit a kirb head on in my old corsa c, smashed my wheel up (now a clock) and bent my wishbone badly. Replaced the wishbone and wheel, still way off! Needed a new Subframe! Mmmm... Costly

I hit a curb in my corsa b, pushed the front wheel so far back i couldnt turn the wheel! it just clashed with the bodywork! £300 later (new suspension, steering and other small bits) it was all better again!

well, since lowering, my car is pulling to the right. The steering wheel when straight makes the car pull to the right...Guess the tracking wasnt done well
BTW this strabge thing with the wheel didnt affect my steering at all before i changed my wheels and even after changing them.
But after having the car lowered on saturday, the car is pulling to the right and makes it a bit awkward to drive...
