signed up to a contract last saturday at phones4u, not really happy so i wanna cancel it, been told ive got 14 days to do it, can i do it and just pay first month or do i get away with not payin or what?
yes i have read all the paperwoprk i have and i cant find anytrhin there, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

14 days to cancel but you must return the handset.

you only pay on a pro rata basis, i.e you will only be chargd for the ammount of days you had the contract, and any call usuage that you have ammsed

cool, cheers guys! not bothered bout the phone, got a new contract, called my current one to cancel and they offered me a much better deal

went into the shop today, and saw the manager
he was tryin to talk me round but i ended up gettin about a tenner off and a 8800 for 50 quid, perfect. so while his computer was loadin up we got chattin and got onto work and he gave me a job!
this also means i can get my contract reduced to 17.50 p/m Result!

turned em down in the end, cheers for advice though Matt, i was thinkin along those lines (even though the money sounded quite good )
